Qingyuan P&E Haida Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was formerly known as Qingyuan Shantang Water Transport Company Ship Repair and Construction Factory, founded in 1957. In 2002, it was converted into a private enterprise, and in 2011, due to the development needs of the enterprise, it was established and changed to Qingyuan P&E Haida Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
The company is located on the banks of the Beijiang River in Shantang Town, Qingxin District, Qingyuan City, covering an area of about 30000 square meters. The shipyard has a coastline of 250 meters and an average depth of about 8 meters. The company mainly focuses on the construction, renovation, and maintenance of various civilian and commercial ships. Through years of experience in ship repair, technological inheritance, and innovation, the company's business scope continues to expand.
The company currently has six hard bottomed large slipways and one small slipway, which can simultaneously undertake the construction of multiple ships with different functional uses, with a length of less than 150 meters and a width of less than 24 meters. The company's main products include various types of cargo ships with a cargo capacity of up to 15000 tons, engineering ships, barges, barges, articulated suction dredgers, self dumping ships, container ships, finished oil tankers/oil barges, tugboats, tank cement ships, sightseeing boats/passenger ships, and other civil and commercial ships newly built/renovated.
The company has obtained the China Classification Society (CCS) ISO9001:2015 quality system certification and welding process certification. With industry-leading technologies such as CNC plasma cutting and submerged arc automatic welding, the company has multiple types of ship auxiliary processing equipment including CNC plasma cutting machines, submerged arc automatic welding machines, CNC lathes, folding machines, shearing machines, bending machines, etc; Multiple large overhead cranes, truck cranes, and dozens of operating forklifts; Hundreds of welding machines such as CO2 gas shielded welding and argon arc welding, as well as multiple sets of production auxiliary equipment. In order to improve the quality, efficiency, and overall working environment of shipbuilding, the company has invested tens of millions of yuan to build multiple steel structure production workshops since 2013, with a cumulative fixed asset investment of over 100 million yuan.
